Confusion about DS 2001 and P3 Confusion

There is nothing remotely like the DS 2001 form for the new cp process. There was a lot of confusion on the forum about the DS 2001.
NVC needs ONLY DS 230 Part I along with the the appropriate fee which includes a bar coded fee letter.
Nothing else.
The only barcoded item in P3 is the Fee Letter.
THIS NEEDS TO BE SENT OUT WITH THE DS 230 PART I. Hope this helps future CPers.

By the way, what is this DS2001 and when is it needed ? Currently my pkt-3 is getting ready in our compnay's attorney's office and he didn't mention it so far. I have come to know this here in forum. Can u please ellaborate this ? Please.

DS 2001 is outdated form. You do not need it nor is it included in P3. There was a lot of confusion on the forum about this form. This form is not needed. It has been done away with.

You need only DS 230 Part I, Fees, Barcoded Fee Receipt and any other documents specifically mentioned.
