Confusing I-140 question..can it be filed thru two companies

Hi All,

Somewhat confused with my situation....

I have my labor filed from Company A, and PD is 05/2001 and I am already in my 9th year..

Recently applied thru PERM from company B and got labor approved..Planning to apply my I-140

My question is If I apply my I-140 thru company B and In the mean time if my labor from company A is approved, in which the date will be current, Can I proceed with Company A and do I need to withdraw from company B. Please advise.

Is there any part in 140 which asks this question.

You can have I140's filed from different companies.. Its like saying couple of companies are willing to give you jobs by sponsoring your GC. This is not an issue.

In I-140 form, there is a question asking "Has Immigrant visa petetion filed on behalf of the applicant ? Does I-140 fall in this category or only I-485 ?
