Confused....

Both or our (My wife and mine) 485 Receipt Date is NOV. 8, 2001 and Notice Date is DEC 19, 2001 but our R # is EAC - 02-067-5XXXX. I see a lot of people with early November RD have R# either starts with EAC-02-061 or 062. Please help me clarify, how do INS go by approving applications? By RD or ND or R#? I may be wrong but I have been seeing that INS is going by the order of R #.

BCIS goes by notice date

As far as i know, BCIS goes by Notice date. If you read the postings of people who have spoken to IIO, you'll notice them mentioning that BCIS goes by notice date.

You have to be very patient when it comes to GC. Your turn will come soon.

When you speak with IIO, they talk about the notice date. However sometimes people with later notice dates also get approved before people with earlier notice dates. So there is no proper way to tell that they follow any rule.
