my I485 aplication was transfferd to miami in dec 2003 for speed processing. since then i didnt hear from them ,i made 3 inquiries nothing hapened, i wrote a letter to miami about my fp expiring next month nothing. I tooke an appointement with local immigration office this morning here in tampa .the officer was nice and polite ,he cheked my status,then the suprise.my file been transfferd again to texas. I am confused I need some light HELP, EXPERTISE,PLEASE ADVISE.... MY I485 RD APR2002` FP MAI2003 TR TO MIAMI DEC2003 TR TO TEXAS MARS 2004 WIFE SAME.
 
Try sending the FP expiry letter to the TSC fax no. Maybe it will work for you. Good luck!!

Same thing happened to my case.
My case was transferred to miami 12/2003. But my wife's file was still in TSC.
Then they sent a FP notice to me only in 03/2004. Which I got it done. When I talked to the Tampa office via Infopass, the IO said it was transferred to Tampa office from Miami, then TSC recalled the file and sent back to TSC in 02/2004. :mad:
I do not know why they did that ? Surprisingly, the transfer date to TSC is prior to FP notice. :confused:

What does online messege say on your case ?
Did the IO explain why the file was sent back to TSC ?
What Category(EB) is your case ?

eb 1 the officer told me texas did take it back to reduce backload. my online message is we transferd your application to miami blah blah.................i called customer service this afternoon and the lady said just wait for your turn, now texas processing january 2002. and she cant submit noting in my behalf.

The national customer service is no help.
I think you can send a fax to expedite handling to TSC. As because your FP is done and some cases have been approved around your RD, your files' approvals are coming pretty soon I think.
