I searched several sites and archives in the site. It seems all answers are pretty vague and different from each other...

For a speeding ticket, What should I answer in the following questions in N-400 application? Yes or No

15. Have you EVER committed a crime or offense for which you were NOT arrested?
16. Have you EVER been arrested, cited, or detained by any law enforcement officer (including INS and military officers) for any reason?
17. Have you EVER been charged with committing any crime or offense?
18. Have you EVER been convicted of a crime or offense?

Thanks a lot.

NO for all. just write down somewhere there that you were cited for a speeding ticket. that's what i did and i took my interview without any questions asked.

"write down somewhere".. where? a separate sheet? attached with the N400 application or bring it with you in your interview?

Thanks a lot.

there should be some blank space next to where the questions was asked. just write it doen there in the original N-400 application (not on a separate sheet).

Yes for #16, and you write down on a separate sheet attached with the N400 that it was speeding.

My interview was about 2 weeks ago. I agree with the answer above. Mark 16 "Yes" and attach a separate sheet. Don't forget to list your violations below these questions. There's a table to put dates, desc. etc. (right below these questions on page 8).

Either way... you will be just fine.
