I am very happy yesterday I finally got approved. After checking several threads on infopass, i realize i have a new issue...I don't have AP document to submitt since I never received it (it was approved June 04). After calling many times, I gave up hope ever receiving it...But will I be in trouble when I go to PP stamp without AP, while they will have a record that it was approved?

Please help! ...almost see the light at the end of tunnel

GC_quoi,

I don't think you will have that issue at all, as you will not see these documents (EAD, AP) to carry for stampimg, in approval letter.

However, I suggest you may tell at the counter that you have not received AP eventhough it is approved.

Good luck...

Thanks, Marais.

I read many threads people say that the officer will sure ask for them although not written anywhere as requirement...many folks in this forum say these documents are a must. Confused..

They will ask you o handover all AP's and EAD. Do not volunteer information unless asked for specifically and if asked give the honest answer. It is a non issue.

All the best.

I do not see a big issue, i been to PP stamping and i did not carry my AP and did not submit that.
It depends on the officer you are getting. I do not see any problem. Give the right honest reason and you will be fine.

Just go with confidence, it is simiple process. forget that you need AP, carry your approval .

Just tell the officer you don't have one.

I never applied for AP. I was asked for it when I went for PP stamping on Tuesday March 1 in Fairfax. I simply told the officer that I don't have one and that was it.

Good Luck.

Many Thanks, Friends! You have greatly eased my worries. I made the appointment at Hartford, CT on March 17th. I will keep you posted how it goes...

Best wishes to everyone on the GC journey!

They will ask to submit whatever EAD, AP docs you have.

They don't really care whether you give or not.
Also, they don't bother even to look the docs you give.
