Confused on Status Msgs

Hi All,

On Jan 14th 2005 I recd mail saying that our 485 cases got approved.

Today Jan 19th 2005 I recd mail saying that our Fp results recd on Jan 18th 2005 and your case has resumed processing blah blah......

Why am getting email saying that they recd fp result after sending approval mails.

I need to still get Approval Notices in USPS mail. As this monday 17th Jan 05 is an national holiday so probably i guess they may be in Transit.

Has anyone recd these kind of status change mails ???

I spoke to my attonery he says that you have to always take the latest info. Is this right.

I am now totally confused....... experts advise please...
 
I understand your frustration. It might be some online glitch. Keep the approval emails safe and wait for 14 days from from the date of approval email. Then call TSC if you did not receive the approval notice.
 
it happened to me for my advance parole.

received approval email and i was waiting for the notice in the mail. Never received and after 2 weeks, my online msg went back to received your application.

i called, they can see the status as approval and also as received, so they are not sure.
 
Don't Care for Online Msgs

Yesterday I recd both mine and my spouse's 797c approval notices by mail. We should not consider what online msg says.

I will post msgs as futher process get progressed.
