Confused about online message

The online message says "Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on July 30, 2001......"

Actually, in the letter that I received, I have RD as May 25, 2001 and ND as July 30, 2001. Which date will BCIS refere to in processing my case?

i mean if your ND is 3/8/04, they will say they RECEIVED your case on March, 8, 2004 even though they might get your case one week ago.
