Hello everybody.
I am really confuse because I will get married with my boyfriend that is not american. The problem is, I am asylee and I will apply for adjudgment of status next march next year and my boyfriend after we get married, he will apply in his country for greencard, actually he is H1B holder and if he apply for his greencard in his country he will get the GC in 3 month (consulate in Austria). My question is, how can be affected by this situation? because if we get married when h apply he can include me in his application form in the consulate as spouse? or I need to wait until 1 year and 1 day for apply for adjustment of status for my GC? I concern because I don't want to lose my status and I do something wrong. I heard before one man did and he was deported because he abandoned his status of asylee.... I don't want to do the same but how my boyfriend can apply in the consulate? and how can be affected? Thank you
