NVC US had rejected my sister's daughter's application under family visa due to her age. Someone from American Consulate in India checked the results and sent us a different calculation indicating she is approved. Can American Consulate override the NVC results? We had written to NVC, US but they did not change their result. How to resolve such a discrepancy? We are trying hard to avoid any further family separation. Thank you for your help.
