Hi. I have married my wife 1yr and 8 month ago. It took immigration office year and a half to process my papers and than finally we received a letter to come to the interview after 1yr and 8 months we got married. Passed interview. And i am about to receive a green card. So my question is:

1. What kind of green card will i get since i am 1 month away from ability to file for a permanent green card?

2. If i will get a conditional how soon can i apply for permanent?

Thanks in advance for your advices

If you haven't completed 2 years of marriage when they issue the card, it will be a 2-year card and you'll need to apply for the 10-year card when the 2-year card is about to expire (as early as 90 days before the expiration date).

Ok. I see now. great explanation. So that means when I will get my 10 year Green Card I should be able to apply for naturalization right away. Since I will be in marriage for 3 years and 8 month, by that time. Is that correct?
