Conditional GC expiring question

Hi,

I filed for the removal of condition on my GC last year and got a letter saying that it's been extended for a year. Now that year is coming to an end in March 2003.

Can I go into the local INS and get a new GC?? Any help and/or sharing of experience in this matter is greatly appreciated.

if you don't get your plastic card by march, you have to go to ins office for a second stamp on your passport if you want to travel abroad, iam in very similar situation
 
My friend would like to ask if she can still travel abroad with the letter before she receive a permanent GC? Anyone has experienced this before? Thanks!

see my post on 751. i was also completing 3yrs from CPR in Mar. turns out my 751 had been approved on 10-02 but it took till now to find out & get passport stamped.
for some reason i couldnt get status online.

u should try ins line/ attorney etc to push on the status else u've to stand in line for the renewal stamp. might as well get the approval unless u think 2nd interview is likely.
