I have 2 I-485 applications pending, one in the local office and this is a legalization case, and the other is in Vermont SC and this is an employment case. My wife is on the employment based application but not on the legalization application as per the rules and regulations. So she has an I-485 pending in Vermont as "Derivative adjustment". The question is if I get an approval for my legalization case, can my wife still keep her I-485 in Vermont? or will i have to file I-130 and start over for her ?
