Hi

Yesterday I got an email from USCIS stating that my I-140 is approved. I am still waiting for the postal mail to arrive though.

I am hoping to get my I-485 approval soon (it was concurrent filing in EB3). But I read somewhere (on this forum) that they are not treating I-140 and I-485 together because the priority dates changed on Jan 1, 2005. But I guess it might be for folks whose prioirty date is after Jan 1, 2002. Anyone any inputs on this ?

Thanks

Because of the recent law, concurrent adjudication is terminated. This is applicable to pipeline cases (cases which are already filed and are going to stay dormant because of the PD retrogression). I am also in the same boat, waiting for I-140 approval, EB3 RIR, filed concurrently at NSC with RD 11 jun 04.
It is hard to digest but the truth is 485 may not be approved until priority date becomes current, if you are from India, China etc. However, there is a possibility that they may have already allotted a visa number for your case, if that is the case, you will get your I-485 soon. Hope for the best!!.

Hi

Today I got that wonderful email from USCIS stating my I-485 has been approved. So, hopefully the next phase of stamping should be fine. Wishing best of luck to all of you !

Hi

I have setup InfoPass appointment for the stamping on my passport after I-485 approval for both me and my wife. Do I need to take one appointment for both of us... or 2 appointments (one for each of us) if we wish to get the stamping on the same day and time ?
Also, what are the documents/photos that are reqd for the passport stamping ? Generally, is there any interview during that time ? And how much time does it take for the whole process ? I am in San Jose, CA.

Thanks
