Need for AC-21?

Hi all,
Quick question... I had applied for GC using concurrent filing for the outstanding researcher category. Then I moved company while I-485 and I-140 was pending for more than 180 days. my I-140 was not approved when I moved company 6 months ago. I recently applied for my I-140 through my new company. As per the company lawyer's idea I hadn't withdrawn my old applications nor did I notify INS. Meanwhile, my old I-140 got approved. I would like to use the I485 that is already pending instead of applying a new one since my old I-140 got approved now. Do I have to do anything with regard to AC-21 to use my old 485?

If you want to use the I145 that is associated with the old I140, Yes you need to inform USCIS the employment change thus AC21. I think you'd encouter problems in stamping and interviewing if you do not inform using AC21.

Another thought is that because of the pilot program, you might try to file another concurrent 140/485 which will be approved in 3 months.
