Concurrent filing with I-485 approved and I-140 still pending

Chances are that they just didn't update the online status of your I-140. The online status is not 100% dependable.

Congrats on your 485 approval.....
If you and your lawyer have the 485 approval notices, it is probably approved. Schedule appt with infopass and go for PP stamping....maybe USCIS just had a glitch and forgot to send u the 140 approval....wouldn't be the first time!!!
But talk to your lawyer first before taking appt.

I-485 ND: 5/28/03 AD: 11/30/04 PP stamped: 12/13/04 Card: ??

Spouse's 485 ND: 5/24/04 AD: ???
Spouse's FP: ???

Crazy system
Its almost a month and still my son case is pending . I have made an enquiry . Today I recd a reply stating "gone for name check " & standard format letter we have no control and have no idea how long it will take. What a crazy system. We wait for 3 years to get an approval. By that time the kid becomes 15 years and now wait for another year cycle. I have another concern , my younger son is 13 now. He recd his green card directly. When he turns 14 yrs whats the procedure. He goes for FP and then name check. Does he have to go for stamping.
Gurus any advice on the procedure, any one has gone thru this stage.. thanks in advance..
