Concurrent filing regarding

Hi,

I have applied for I 140 in 1st week of July
485/EAD filed with pending 140 on 1st week of october in VSC

My attorney says that 'INS is going to look at my I-485 application only after the I-140 petition is approved'. Is this the case?.
How about EAD? Are they issuing EAD with pending 140. Your answer will be greatly appreciated

I may not be a lot of help here,

but if you check the archives with the word concurrent, I am sure you will find some Info, in fact I am sure there is atleast one person who has posted here about his/her concurrent filing of I 140 and I 485.

And if I find that URL I will post it here

I am not so sure but hope this helps
