Concurrent filing - a mirage?

I assume that this news is not very important for this forum as everyone already filed 485 but looks like concurrent filing has its problems - AC21 protability wont apply.

Interesting...

Additionally, it says:

"According to the AILA source and the information shared at Wednesday's meeting, the INS has indicated that the I-140 will not be adjudicated until the I-485 is adjudicated. "

Therefore, it defeats the whole purpose of filing 140 and 485 together. Not sure, what does anyone get out of concurrent filing.
