My concurrently filed I-140 has been stagnant even though the processing date crossed my ND more than 6 months ago.
No reply from TSC for follow up thro Senator Cornyn on 09/24/04!
No response for status check ordered through Attorney!!
Today while ordering status check for my I-140 thro employer, USCIS helpline(?) person tells that I-485 processing date is May 2002 and we can expect the concurrently filed I-140 to be taken up only when I-485 processing date reaches my ND which is Feb 2003!
When we told this person TSC has already clarified to immigration attorney Murthy that both I-140 and I-485 will be processed near to I-140 processing dates for concurrently filed cases, she expressed surprise!!
I am wondering whether there are people in TSC too who are so ignorant

I'd suggest you call your congressman or senator on this.... you have a fair chance of getting both approved!

hi aj9870,

i also filed EB1 under L1A. Here are my details :

I-140 , RD 09/03/03
I-485, RD 11/18/03
FP done 12/26/03
FP results recd: 01/06/04

What do you mean by FP expired ?

I also sent an email to FBI to confirm a name check...no response yet.. Many chat members suggested that the msg of " FP results are received" does not necessarily mean that FBI cleared your name.

Let us keep in touch.. There are not many in this chat who filed under EB1/L1A.

Hi My Dream USA

Our FP Date is August 5,2003

I saw somewhere in the forums that FP's are going to expire after 15 months.

I dont think TSC is approving EB-1 Cases. You are right. There are not many participants in this forum in our category. So please keep in touch

Thank

Aj9870 :)

I-140 Approved;I-485 transferred to Dallas Office

Got the magic email approval for I-140 today :) Status check enquiry last Friday through my employer seems to have triggered the approval.
However my I-485 has been transferred to Dallas Office with the following message:
Current Status:

On November 8, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register
Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in DALLAS, TX for
them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take
several months. Our office in DALLAS, TX will notify you when they schedule
your interview or take other action on your case. If you need further
information, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800)
375-5283.
Dependents I-485 cases also transferred to Dallas Office.
Anyone has any idea how long it takes for Dallas Office to schedule interview?

Concurrent filing I-140/485: RD:02/14/2003 ND:02/18/2003 LUD jumped from 02/19/2003 to 11/08/2004 with I-140 approval and I-485 transfer to Dallas Office.
