Concurrent Approval?

Registered Users (C)
According to the USCIS email update, my 140 (filed in Jan 2004) has been approved on Oct 18th. 485s were filed in March 2004. Our (myself and spouse) fingerprints were completed on April 29, 2004 and received by USCIS on May 4, 2004 - the LUD for both our 485 apps is 5/4 and has not changed. Also, our name checks have been cleared according to the FBI.

Are our cases candidates for concurrent approval? (given that 140 and 485 were filed on different dates) I have seen an earlier approval (140 filed in Dec 2003 and 485 in Feb 2004) where both were approved on the same date.

Has anyone seen a pattern of how long it takes after 140 approval for 485 approvals (if it is to be deemed somewhat concurrent
:) )?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Going by previous approvals, you case should be picked up for concurrent adjudication. In other words, it appears that different 140 and 485 RDs has no bearing on being considered for concurrent adjudication.

Can you tell your exact 140 RD in Jan 04?

Flipper,

Congrats!!

What process did you do to find out the name check status from FBI? Also how much time it took?

Please share with us.

It was Jan 20th. Also, you mention previous approvals (for concurrent adjudication) - did these have 140 and 485 approved on the same day? Or did 485 follow 140 (if so, approx how long after 140 approval)?

Thanks and good luck with your case.

Flipper, I believe your cases would be approved soon.

A simple question:
How do you know your FP in FBI is clear or not?

I only get "the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. "

Is that clear?

I would assume that this message means that the FPs are clear - good point though - I have the same message.

Good luck with your case.

I140 filed on 11/03/2004

Just scaned all the I140 case filed on 11-03-2004, WAC04023xxxxx,

Total 67 cases
Approved 22 (5 was approved on Oct-19-2004!)
RFE 18
Pending(received) 27, I am one of 27 unlucky guys.

Hope this help.

Check from website. Thanks for PhDchemist gave me the scan script. basically it scan USCIS website automatically just like you input the WAC number one by one. Then I scanned and found the details.

So anyone have any ideas as to whether I can expect my 485 to be approved anytime soon (based on other approvals so far)? Am I a candidate for the so called 'concurrent approvals'? There has been no LUD update on the 485 (since FPs were received in May).
