Concurrent "Adjudication" Policy Cancelled - Update from immigration-law.com

Thanks for the good news Buddy...

i read that and looks very encouraging. i have a 140, 485 ead and AP filed last week . i was scared that 140 will not be processed till 485 is taken up . now i am happythat 140 status will be known earlier.

one more thing i read . the cut off date for filing 140 and 485 is 30th dec not 31st dec 04.

Tanks again
Ravi.

This whole thing is a nonsense

we have no idea for how many cases they implemented concurrent processing, since the day they started(looks to be very few cases) and
now they want to cancel it. No difference at all, if you are at VSC :D

My feeling is that though VSC is not implenmenting concurrent adjudication strictly, they do have that in mind - when possible they'd approve 140 & 485 together or close enough. It is not good news for people who have their I-140 just approved or close to approval, as the adjudicators now have legitimate reasons to hold I-485 off after they approve your I-140 - the published processing date for I-485 is June 2003 after all.
