I have I-485 pending but trying to adjust through the DV program; I have to file for all the application again through local BCIS. My lawyer has been gracious to send all the forms she prepared for me a year ago via attachments.
1. I-485
2. Biography information
3. Work Authorization
The problem is I can¡¯t make any changes. I do not have an adobe acrobat writer.
I have to include my wife information. I need your help. Thanks

In order to modify a pdf file you will have to buy acrobat editor software (not cheap).

Other option is to download acrobat reader (you probably has this already), print out the documents, fill in required information and send them back to your lawyer.

There are two types of PDF forms:
1. Fillable
2. Static

Fillable forms can be filled using regular Acrobat Reader, version 3 and above.

You need the fillable type of form. You do not need a PDF writer.

The IRS (Revenue) website has examples of both types.

Ask your lawyer for fillable forms if they have 'em
