Hi Friends,

Today, finally I finished passport stamping (It is just a clerical procedure). The cards will come in about 60 days it seems - No problem.

This forum has been of immense relief in my GC journey. I found this forum by accident while searching for something on Google.

I Thank you all for your advise and help, whenever I turned to you. Also, Thanks to Rajiv Khanna for doing a great job of maintaining this portal.

Wishing you All the Best and a speedy approval, I remain.

Thanks a Ton Again.

You seems quite sure that "The cards will come in about 60 days it seems - No problem".

But I've seen people getting plastic cards well over 6+ months after passport stamped!

Pain never ends

It never ends. I got card but DOB printed incorrectly. Applied for replacement card which will take more than a year.

Good luck for getting your card correctly.

I thought that I need not post the experience.

But...

On the passport the IIO interchanged mine and my wife's A#s. EAC Numbers too got interchanged. Went again today and got it rectified. Then, the validity date was wrong. Went again and got it corrected. My passport became a mess.

1st Entry Wrong. - Strike off.
2nd Entry Went wrong while writing - Strike off.
3rd Entry Corrected - and Date of Validity was wrong - Strikeoff.
4th Entry Correct !!!!

INS guys stamped on each correction - but my passport got messed up.

Problems at every stage huh ? However, I know, it will be more agonizing for the people who are still waiting for approval. Mine is a very small problem.

Lesson ? - CHECK YOUR ENTRIES THROUGHLY BEFORE LEAVING THE FEDERAL BUILDING.
