Went to infopass today. IO told to me that your case is assigned to an Exam officer... (Exam office = Adjudicating office). So, it depends on Visa availability then... which are not available

Cust Service IO told me that case is with the officer. Visa not available.

What does this mean - Has a visa number been assigned ? Or is there a complication for the officer to work .....soooooo muchhhhhhh.....NC is done, FP is done... what else is needed.

Does that mean they have approved a whopping 140,000 EB cases for the FY 2007 ?
This is really going beyong the patience limit if old-timers did not get it before end of this month.
I have been reading this forum from March and I am sure that we are all already pre-adjusted (meaning visa number alloted), we will be getting it end of this month.
I have seen many members, the IO told that no visa number, but eventually they are all approved. I am hoping the same.
We will see more approval in next weeks. Forget this gc virus this weekend, and will enjoy the weekend.

I am pretty sure that approvals are done for September and it'll be whatever is current for October.
My NC is clear, FP clear, they acknowledged receipt of medical RFE and the case is assigned to an officer last time I called.
However with the fact that there have been almost no approvals for a week, I believe the numbers have run out.

Sorry to post this question here. Can someone tell me how to cancel G-28 form. I donot want my old attorney to handle my case any more. enough is enough.
