Company\'s Name change

I have applied for CP and packet 3 has been sent to Mumbai Consulate in March. While my I-140 was in process company\'s name changed. My I-140 got approved in Feb,02. It is just the name change and no merger etc. Management is same. My I-824 was also filed in the old company\'s name because both the names are in use. I started getting pay stub in the new company\'s name from Feb,02. Would any one tell me what documents I need to carry at the time of interview with regard to name change. I am expecting May interview.

I would appreciate if any one can give me a sample of these documents which will help in getting the papers from the company.

First of - write an email

to the Mumbai consulate explaining your situation and see what they say. Mine was Chennai and interview on Feb 20, and i took the following. I am asking you to write to the consulate bcoz around Jan/Feb there were some posts, that Mumbai had rejected some one etc. You may want to do a search on the archives on this and also my postings

The information that you can collect in the public domain(i.e web, press releases,any SEC related stuff etc) as much as possible. I also had the name change explained in the employment letter. File an amendenment to I-140 and try to get atleast the receipt.

What if I get employment letter on Old compmay\'s letterhead. Old name is still in use at some places.
