Company name change during LC

My LC is pending at Dallas since Jan 2003. Meanwhile The name of my sponsor company has changed. The employer ID/IRS tax# is still the same.

Should I just wait for the approval, without any action. Then I take a risk that an NOF may be issued hence causing even more delays.

What is the best course of action, considering employer ID is still the same. I remember for H1B applications, there was no need for transfer in such situations.

I don't think you can preempt the NOF/RFE. I had a similar situation. Got a NOF/RFE, in which the SESA seemed to have mailed the 750B back to the attorneys. I got a copy to initial every place where the old name had been struck through (by the attorneys) and the new name inserted. Sent that back and had the LC approved in < 10 days. This was early 2003.
