I saw postings from IGATE employees approvals after they filed Ammended
I-140. Still my attorney says, it won\'t work even if we apply for I-140 without INS request. But he says he can file I-140, if I insists, and he says it will go in regular I-140 section, which is taking atleast 10 months to get approval. What my question is how much chance is there that INS will process this I-140 in fast track? Do Attorney has to do some speacial request to make sure that goes into fast-track section? I am not getting much help from my attorney. Can somebody help me in this regard?

Ask your attorney to fill in your A# ( you will find this on your receipt notice for the I-485) in PART 3 of the I-140 application. Also ask him to mention this on the covering letter. After you get the I-140 receipt notice check with VSC IIO to ensure that the I-140 is linked to your I-485. The I-140 will be on an expedite basis.

Also i heard that INS was holding ammended I-140 cases like this one,cuz once the AC21 regulations are out, this may not be needed.
But there are different opinions on this.
