Company didn\'t do amended 140 instead replied with some explaination.
Case denied 12/00 but INS never mailed any letter.
Case reopened by INS in 2/01
Just checked AVM, it was approved y\'day.

If i understand right, the INS denied your case and then re-opened the case without you knowing about it, or you requesting that the re-open it ?
How did you get the INS to reeopen the case? Did you approach the Immigration Board of appeals ?

Nothing, I didn\'t do a thing. Apparently if the officer denies a case the file goes to the supervisor and he can reopen the case.
