I have an approved I-140 and am in the process of filing the I-485 since the dates are current. My company has changed names and its Federal Employer ID Number (FEIN). I spoke with my lawyer who says I will have to file a new I-140. The new company has only been in operation for 2 months, I do not know how we are going to show their ability to pay. I have paystubs from the new company. How can we prove to US CIS that the two companies are the actually still the same.
