company move, can i quit after GC

Expect to get GC within 1 months, department is moving to a location 20 miles away in July. Can this be a good reason to leave the company?

If the decision was made in 6months of ND(Few consider RD), You should not change the Job. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, just want to clarify-- my ND was 08/10/2001, the moving decision just came out yesterday 02/14/2002, so it is >6 months. So I should have no problem?

changing job is definately fine, even without any excuse.

But will it cause RFE or transfer to local office? You almost make it. Why do you want to take risk to prolong the application?
