company mergre and pending 485

I am working with Company A which merges with Company B who are the buyers. My 140 has been approved and 485 is pending more than 180 days now. I have completed my finger printing also.

MY job description and work place remain the same. Company B is located in
a different state.

I would like to know the implications of my 485. Can anyone help me
as to what needs to be done in the case of merger of the company ?

Not a problem.

If merger or acquisitions happens before the I-140 approval then it is problematic in case you get an RFE. In the pre-AC-21 days people use to do amendment to approved I-140.
Now because of AC-21 you can show it as new company and get approved.
