My I-140 sponsored by Company A is pending for 5+ months in NSC. Company A was acquired by Company B recently. Company A is now no longer there. Does anyone have similar situation? Any advice on what should I do?
1. Do I need to file a new I-140 amendment (sponsored by new company)?
2. If a new I-140 case is filed, will it invalidate the original I-140 and treat the new I-140 as a complete new case with new RD and ND? Or the new I-140 will be used to validate the original case?
3. Will original I-1485 concurrently filed with original I-140 continue to be valid? In other words, is it necessary to file a new I-1485? If a new I-1485 is needed, what is the RD and ND?
