Company Merger, What about H1??

Hello everybody,

Briefly:

I am an H1 holder of company A.

Company A merged with Company B.
(Thats what the owner of company A told me. I don't know if Company A is winding up or if its a merger.....so, i take the word of the owner (my boss) of Company A.)

My concerns:

1)Is it a problem for me having an H1 from Company A and possibly be on payroll of company B?

2) Will it also effect my GC process, which is with Company A?

3) Is there any documents I should ask my boss regarding the merger? if so what would that be?

The best strategy would be to re-file H-1B with the new employer.
