Company Merger: Is current 1hB still valid ?

Hello,
My company merged with another company legally. The name if my current employer/company appears in the name of the merged company.

I am not changing the geographical location where I am currently employed.

Is my current h1b still valid with the merged company ?

I heard in the case of legal company mergers the h1b visa status of employees is still valid with the new merged company too.

Is to true ?

If not, what I should do ?
