Here we have group of people working in same company having issue about companies merger. we all are working for one small company filed our I140. we filed our I140 in October, 2002 at INS Vermont Center. we didnt get approval yet but company is ready to file 485 Concurrently meanwhile we got the news from HR that our company is merging to one Big Company. So they are going to change the our companies name and pay check format and everything. Now we all are in confusion and having couple of questions. Any answers or suggestion regading this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
1. Do we have to file I140 Amendment or we have to file I140 from scratch ?.
2. If company files 485 then company's name is different then I140. will it create problem ? is there any way that we can ask INS that name change because of merging. (Note : According to HR, they will attach merger press release document with 485).
