The company I work for is about to merge or be aquired by another comapny. I have an L1 visa (worked in the UK for 2.5 years and then here in the US for 3 years) sponsored by the company, and need to know how this might be affected by the merger. Can I keep the L1 if I stay through the merger? Will I have to get a new visa? (H1B?)
I have also begun the GC process with this company and am currently going through the labor certification process. If the comapny merges, but I am still doing the same job, do I get to continue with the GC application, or do I have to start again?
