Company Merger and I-485

I wonder if anyone has any light on the following situations:

Part of Company A has been merged with company I with the name of company B.
RI Labor Certificate and I-140 have been approved with Company A as sponsor. Now if the job remains to be the same in same location, how I-485 need to be filed. Is "Successor of Interest" a consideration ? What would have an effect on I-140, Labor Certificate? Do they need to be amended?
Can I-485 and any of the amendments be files simultaneously?

I would really appreciate any answer.

in our case (iGate) - I-485 and amended I-140 are being filed at the same time for people who are current now and have I-140 from Mastech
