It has been close to 3 months since I filed for my I485. My company is going to merge with other company soon OR it may shutdown. In either case my employment with the 485 petitioner company will terminate before 180 days after 485 application.
My questions are:
(1) Is there a way i can continue my current I-485 process, If so, in what way.
(2) I read in one of the immigration site that, Until unless INS approves I-485 within 180 days, it does not matter if one changes his/her employer even within 180 days. I just want to be really clear on that? Can anybody confirm please...?
