As I see from some web site, I was confused by different kinds of company chnage, such as \'merge\', \'buy off\', \'take over\', \'successor-in -interest\' or just a name change. As my understanding, only two kinds of company changes available: Tax ID change or not. If Tax ID does not change, I don\'t think we need do anything; if Tax ID changed, Is a ammended I-140 good enough or need a new I-140? Like my case: I work in a US feferal research center as a federal contactor, but employed by a private company. Every five years,my company has to attend the rebiding to win the federal contract; if failed, another company will take over all the staff like me, and would do the same job. Do I just need do a ammended I-140? Anyone has the similar situation like me? Please share your info. My case: Eb1, Texas, ND: 10/00 (485)
