Company Bought out after-140 filed

Hey Guys, If anybody is in the same situation pls respond.

My I-140 is due any any day. However, my company has been bought out by one of its sister concerns. Which means that the TAX-ID will be changing. However, my job desc, office location remains the same. Now, does anyone out there knows what happens to my I-140. I am planning to go for CP. Is there any risk in this case as my paystubs from now will be on the new company name.

Any solid comments will be highly appreciated.

I-140 will have to be amended using the successor of interest clause.
I have a similar case.

Original I-140 RD 8/17/99 AD 4/4/00 no RFE

Was waiting for PD to become current (for 1 year) when some assets of sponsoring company (me included) was acquired (4/01)

The good news is that I-485 can go on simultaneously. I got my EAD/Advanced parole/Finger-printing all while waiting for I-140 amendment to come through.
