company acquisition and I485

Hi there,

My company is being acquired. Do any of you know if there are any issues with I485? Does the 6month rule come into play?

Is it safe to switch to cosular processing?

I think you are safe, becuase your I-140 petition for immigrant worker is already approved (I am assuming, becuase you didn't mention about I-140).

Consult lawyer, i think best way to takle the problem, under AC21 you don't have to notify INS, so in case you received REF, just reply with emplyment letter and current pay stub and if needed you can send documentation about your company acquired also

i don't think it makes lots of difference, but i think it will make thing complicate, if you continue with I-485 you can still play with Ac21
