I'm posting this on behalf of my friend.
He is working for the same employer that processed his Green Card. He has had his green card for the past two years. He is going to be assigned to a project in UK for the next 8 months (may extend to couple of years). The employer will pay for him to return back home two times a month. He ownes a house, and his wife and daughter are going to stay here.
He does plan to spend two weekends a month in the US except for the summer when the daughter's school is out...the wife and daughter may go over there.
Does he need to get a re-entry permit?
Any other issues he needs to be aware of?
