Coming Soon: A New USCIS.gov.
A new look and feel is coming to USCIS. gov. The Agency will launch a new and improved web portal for its customers soon. This new portal will allow customers to interact with USCIS with greater ease. Keep an eye out for USCIS' new web presence.

does that mean an improved case status page also??????

I am sure it will look cool and all but I wonder about changes behind the page. Would it make things faster? (Not talking about the page load :D You know what I mean..)

What a waste.

Isn't better than spending time & money on how thier f**en website looks like, to process applications which been stalled for 2,3,4.....years in the name of national security crap.

No wonder your alias is "moody". Smile, it's only your life they are screwing with :)

Good luck on the WoM

Our cases aren't counted for backlog. :) They disappeared somewhere in FBI.
USCIS is under the constant pressure for backlog but nobody is working on FBI bottle neck.

I patiently waited 45 minutes on the phone for someone to pick up the phone on the otherside when the first customr service rep escalated my call. finally one "officer" picked it up(I asked for his id. he said he is officer [name] at the LA office (NY TIME 6.45). I told him that I am waiting for almost 9 months for a decision. he asked my A# and he said, "its still pending, why dont you send a letter to District office and ask to schedule an oath ceremony". I was like, what about the "background check". he said if is apporved, you will get the oath letter otherwise not

I am like is there any other way to find out about it. he said he dont know who is doing it

what a waste of my time.

futureuscitizen, maybe I spoke to the exact same officer. He asked me what the problem was and I said my case is pending and he asked what happened and i told him the DO told me that Name check was pending so he goes then ask them what is happening now, how do I know ? I am here in LA!!! that without even taking my A#! He said only they know whats happening, try sending certified mail to the officer who interviewd you.
