Combine filing fees for I-485 + I-765 + I-131

My lawyer asked me to prepare a common check for the filing fees

The breakup is:
I-485: $325 for adults
Biometric Fee paid with the I-485 applications: $70 for adults
I-765 EAD application: $180
I-131 Advance Parole application: $170

For both me and my wife he says make a check for $1490 payable to "USCIS".
I was planning on giving him 6 different checks
2 for I-485 @ 2(325+70 )= $790
2 for I-765 @ 2(180) = $360
2 for I-131 @ 2(170) = $340
Total = $1490

Please advise , I always thought the fees was in separate checks.
 
BUMP.....

I read somewhere its "ok" to combine the fees as long as the totals add up.
You just have to wait longer for the receipt numbers since you will not get all of them at the back of your single check

My lawyer asked for two seperate checks (one for myself and one for my wife) each for 745 USD. This includes filing fee (before the increase in filing fees) for AOS, EAD and AP.

I don't think it matters if you provide 3 seperate checks for AOS, EAD and AP or one check that covers it all.

If any one has any comment here, please feel free to post...

Well, if any of your application is not complete, becaz they cannot process either of your application due to they cannot cash your check. Everything will be returned to you.

So, I will write seperate checks. indeed, I wrote seperate checks for all applications. 6 checks in total.
