Columbus, OH - RD Jul/Aug 2001 Approvals

Lets track the Jul/Aug 2001 RD approvals for Columbus, OH here. B'cas we seem to be in a totally different league. Most of us received the FP notice very late compared to folks in other states for the same RD/ND.

My case:

RD: Aug 10, 2001
ND: Sep 17, 2001
FP: Sep 20, 2002

AVM message still says "Application received...." no mention of my FP.

Still waiting...
 
Received RFE. RD - 8/1/01, ND-9/14/01

Received RFE for birth ceritificate and employment verification on 9/20/2002.

Folks

Any idea why columbus seems to be lagging in everything, right from FP to approvals? Many of my columbus friends with Jul '01 RD still waiting... Any idea what might be going on?

My case approved on Oct 3. Here are my details (I'm from Columbus, OH).

Spoke with IIO

Spoke with IIO today. She said that my case has not yet been assigned and that they are currently processing April 01 cases. Also she said that she could not verify if my FP was received by NSC.

Hang in there. You will get your approval soon. Though I got my approval, I still got my feelings for lots of folks whose RD is on or before my RD. I admit that it would be really frustrating at times. But just hang in there and try your best to take it easy.
