collecting VP4 from Mumbai US Consulate

hi,

I have my CP interview scheduled in the middle of November and I haven't yet received Visa Packet 4 from the US Consulate in Mumbai.

Do I need to send any authority letter/FAX to my parents so that they can personally go and collect the packet for me ? Is there any such sample authority letter ?

Also, at what time in the day do my parents need to go to Mumbai US Consulate to collect the Visa Packet 4 ? Is there any particular time slot when they should go ?

Please advise!!!

There is no need for a authpority letter. The person picking up the p4 duplicate needs to carry a photo id (such as passport/ driving license...) for themselves. The person needs to the consulate between 8:30am-11am Mon-Friday @ information desk.
