By the way it takes almost a year after you file your I-485 to get your GC?

you don't seem to be new here, but new to the whole GC process.

Yes, it takes more than a year to get a GC! and thank to the law called AC21, ti is even faster now! (pl. visit www.isn.org for more details).

RD - Receipt Date (when INS received your application)
ND - Notice Date (when INS sent you the letter of confirmation of receipt)
FP - Finger Printing
AP - Advanced Parole
AD - Approval Date
