code 2 biometric for 4 yr old

Hello everyone,
I just received a Code 2 biometric notice for my 4 yr old son. I am not sure if it is good news ??! Although my PD is current now, I have been struck at FBI name-check since Oct, 04. Me and my spouse had our Code 3 biometrics last May. Now that they sent notice for my son, I was wondering if we are close to be approved?? :confused:
Any advise/inputs will be appreciated.

Please look at my signature. I received FP (code 2) for my 12 years daughter after calling TSC. My PD is current the last few months. It is very clear that the "security check" is the only reason for TSC to keep our applications on their shelves.
 
Good news I think

I received FP code 2 for 8 yr daughter in February. We were approved as soon as PD became curent for us, which was this month (Mexico).
Our senator's inquiry stated "clearance check" for delay, so I assume it was name check, as we were far past current processing times then, before retrogression. I believe that FP notice was sent because everything was ready. Details in signature.

My PD is current from April. Hope I hear something from them by the end of this month!!

I am not sure if 'pending security clearance' is real or just an excuse!
I did make FBI enquiry through the congressman and they got similar response from FBI in February. I hope that enquiry triggered something!!

It is on 24th (APR).
Initially I thought this is a good sign...but later found out that even my friend got a notice for his kids..his PD is not current yet! So it looks like TSC is routinely sending out biometric notice!
I am still struck at FBI---or that is what TSC is telling me!!

No! We finished FP on 24th and so far nothing..No LUD no change in message!

Yes..I contacted congressman and they received a reply from FBI saying that it is pending! I have contacted senators recently..I am planning to write to Mr. Hooton..hope something works out soon!!!

me too asked congressional enquiry
and got FP notice again within 2-3 days of expiry.
i anticipate good news as i am too current...

I noticed a LUD today for my son's petition..this is the first LUD after filing I485!! (there was none even after biometrics).

After reading your post I checked our cases..my kid's case also got an LUD on May 24.

May not mean anything.

Last year, my case had 2 LUDs in July..nothing has happened since then.

This LUD just means that their FP results were entered... lets not raise our hopes to be shot down again..

I think so too..but the only thing is my son's FP was done almost a month ago..in my case..I got LUD immediately after FP.
I am little optimistic now because I just received an e-mail from FBI stating that my name check has been processed on May 19th!! Thats a wonderful news considering that I have been stuck since Nov 2004!
I hope to hear from USCIS soon!!
