COC or Certificate of Naturalization?

We adopted our daughter, age 7, from India and she became a US citizen upon the finalization of her adoption. We will be applying for Indian visas in the near future.

1. Do we need to renounce her Indian passport in order to apply for an Indian visa?

2. The India Renunciation Center asks for a Naturalization Certificate. I know that is not the same as the Certificate of Citizenship (COC). I would rather get her the Certificate of Citizenship. Can the COC be used to renounce her Indian passport?

She can get a certificate of citizenship, but she can't get a naturalization certificate because she derived citizenship through you and did not go through the naturalization (N-400) process herself.
