Hi all , i just want to know
my wife is not working her father i retired and he gets 70,000 $ pension per year , can he be a sponsor because some people say he cant because he is not working

Actual working to earn the income is not necessary, as long as the income is there.

if i have the tax transcripts for the past 3 years
do i have to provide w2 and tax return
while tax transcripts have the gross income nd tax

If you have tax transcripts, then no other documentation is needed.

great i have 2005,2006,2007 transcripts , do i need 2008 and how can i get them?

He probably hasn't filed 2008 taxes yet, the deadline is April 15.

As long as other documentation can be provided to show that he has the pension and the amount of the pension, providing the 2008 tax return shouldn't be necessary at this time.
